The Social Services department at Nevada Regional Medical Center provides information, referral, counseling, crisis intervention, care coordination, and discharge planning services to inpatients and outpatients and their families in a supportive, caring and confidential environment. Services are provided by professionally educated and trained social workers, bachelor and master levels, certified and licensed.

Working as a part of the interdisciplinary treatment team at Nevada Regional Medical Center, the social workers assist physicians and medical staff in ensuring the overall well-being of the patient.

Our goal at NRMC is to empower the patients and families to achieve the best they can within their own environment upon leaving our facility.

In addition to direct patient care, social services also coordinate the "No One Dies Alone" program (NODA).
