Social Services Contact: Susie Bernhardt Number: (417) 448-3686 E-Mail: sbernhardt@nrmchealth.com The Social Services department is readily available to provide social services to the inpatients, outpatients, patients' families and/or other persons significant to the patients, and to the employees of NRMC, Moore-Few Care Center, Home Health/Hospice, Barone Care Center and the Rural Health Clinics. The Social Services Department performs assessments of inpatients and outpatients and their families to identify their psychosocial and/or environmental needs related to the impact of the patient's illness and hospitalization and carries out appropriate treatment including, but not limited to: Psychological counseling services, including emotional support Informative, interpretive and educational services Referral and facilitating services, including discharge planning Collaboration and advocacy services To download a copy of our Bereavement Guide, click here. The Social Services staff is highly trained and qualified to perform their various services. Each member has received education from highly rated schools and are frequently taking advantage of further education opportunities in order to keep up on the latest applicable information that would benefit our customers.
