We care about you and your family and want your stay with us to be as comfortable as possible. So please don't hesitate to let us know when you have questions, suggestions, compliments, complaints or special needs. We want you to feel confident in your decision to choose NRMC for your healthcare needs.
Guest services will assist patients and their families:
· With concerns about hospital services or the quality of our care
· With your suggestions on improving our services
· If your needs have not been met
· If you would like to compliment one of our staff.
NRMC offers several different types of tours to the public:
- Teddy Bear Tours - Children coming to the hospital for the first time are naturally frightened, especially in an emergency situation. This program is designed to familiarize children and parents to the emergency department. Children can meet staff in a more comfortable setting, tour Rehab and Diagnostic Imaging and enjoy a nutritious snack in the cafeteria. Children are asked to bring their “sick and injured” teddy bears or dolls to the hospital and watch as medical personnel take vital signs, examine, diagnose and make them all better.
- OB Tours - Tours are available for expectant parents to prepare for a baby's delivery. Birthing suites and the nursery can be viewed by the family.
- Group Tours - Group tours of the entire hospital or a specific department are available. Tours can be given to a variety of age groups and different organizations.
