Position Title: Director Home Health (RN)
|

| Position Description: | Researches and reviews current Nursing Theory appropriate to the age of patients served, responsible for Nursing Standards of Care and Standards of Practice, utilizes principles of Strategic Quality Management, maintains a safe environment of care, manages departmental resources, staff development, staff selection, discipline, and termination, contributes to a collaborative practice with other disciplines, assumes 24-hour accountability and responsibiliy for the Home Health/Hospice Department, and behaves and practices in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of NRMC.
Main Goals coming into this position:
1) Building Home Health business and working with area physicians.
2) Building and opening a Hospice progam.
3) Updates and maintenance of "Maestro" computer system for Home Health. |

| Experience: | Must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a hospital, home health/hospice and prior managerial or supervisory experience. |
| Special Skills: | Current CPR or within 90 days of employment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent computer skills requried. |
| License Required: | Current State of Missouri Registered Nurse licensure required. Home Health and Hospice Certification is preferred. |
