Recuperate. Rehabilitate. Right here.

We offer a broad range of rehabilitation services --physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, cardiopulmonary rehab, athletic and sport-specific training. These services are all provided by NRMC, right here in the community. This means that even if you go to another city for surgery or treatment, you can recuperate and rehabilitate right here at home -- where it is most convenient. Our rehabilitation services are provided by a staff of caring and experienced professionals. Best of all, they are located conveniently close to you so that you can remain here in the community while you get the help you need. Performance Therapy services include:

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists help people of all ages achieve the physical, cognitive, and behavioral skills needed to return to normal daily activities. Our goal is to help patients achieve independence with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, homemaking, and getting in and out of bed, a car, or a tub. In addition, we can help patients recover from work-related injuries. Typical treatments include enhancement of fine motor skills, safety training in self-care, upper extremity rehabilitation, work conservation and practical application of body mechanics. Patients may require occupational therapy for a variety of health problems, including orthopedic problems, cardiac problems, or injuries resulting from cumulative trauma or due to a neurological disease. Also, children who are developmentally lacking age-appropriate skills may benefit from early intervention. Occupational therapy can assist with fine motor mobility and sensory development.
