American Heart Month Inspires Events at NRMC
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The American Heart Association has dedicated the month of February “American Heart Month”. During this time, health care providers such as Nevada Regional Medical Center strive to remind their communities of healthy habits that reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
In honor of American Heart Month, Nevada Regional Medical Center Foundation will sponsor a free cholesterol screening Thursday, February 25th from 6:30 to 9 a.m. in the Mezzanine Conference Room. Donations to the Foundation will be welcomed at the screening. The NRMC Foundation ensures the growth of Nevada Regional Medical Center, its affiliates and services through private gift support.
