NRMC Welcomes David Dugger, M.D. in May

Nevada Regional Medical Center welcomes David Dugger, M.D. to their medical staff. Dr. Dugger will provide Obstetrics and Gynecological services as well as Infertility consultations for the patients at NRMC. He is located on the second floor of the South Tower; now known as the Professional Practice Clinic. Dr. Dugger comes to Nevada from Joplin, Mo with his wife Cindi. They have three children and four grandchildren with a fifth on the way. Since 1999, Dr. Dugger has worked at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin in the Multispecialty Clinic and the St. John’s Medical Group as the Medical Lab Director. Dr. Dugger is National Board Certified and Certified with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his MD from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1976. He then went on to hold an Internship at the University of South Alabama in Mobile in Obstetrics and Gynecology until 1977. Following his internship, he performed his residency at the Jewish Hospital of Washington University in St. Louis where he served as the Chief Resident until 1980. Dr. Dugger will add to the compliment of doctors who currently deliver babies at NRMC. “We have a very busy OB department at NRMC,” said Judy Feuquay, President and CEO at Nevada Regional. “Dr. Dugger will be an asset to our compliment of doctors who provide Women’s services.” When asked about his relationship with his patients, Dr. Dugger said, “I’m very straight forward. I focus on clear communication with my patients. I work hard to educate them and to ensure they understand their health.” When he is not providing World-Class Women’s services, Dr. Dugger is a sportsman. His passion is not for hunting or fishing, but physical sports. He loves gardening, yard work, skiing, and “pretty much anything outdoors”. He also loves golf. Although he is recovering from shoulder surgery, he played in the NRMC Foundation Golf Classic held May 21. “We hope the Nevada community will welcome their newest physician and neighbor,” Feuqay said. “And from all of us at NRMC, we want to say ‘WELCOME’ Dr. Dugger!” Dr. Dugger is now accepting new patients.
