Each May, the NRMC Foundation hosts the Caring with Pride Golf Classic at the Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course. This 3-person scramble is open to everyone. Proceeds from the tournament are used to purchase much needed medical equipment for the hospital. 2009 Golf Classic Prize Winners The 6th Annual Golf Classic was co-sponsored by KCP&L. Gary Ashby of KCP&L presents a check for $2,500 to Foundation Director Kimberly Cook to co-sponsor the 6th Annual Caring With Pride Golf Classic. Evening in the Orient Gala, October 4, 2008 Mardi Gras Masquerade Gala Magic of Life Gala Foundation Tree of Shining Memories Each year, Christmas trees are placed in the NRMC lobby and on the Nevada Square. Donors may purchase lights in memory of loved ones for a special holiday tribute. A lighting ceremony is held the first Saturday in December on the square, prior to the Christmas parade.
