 | NRMC and its affiliates is governed by a nine-member, voluntary Board of Directors, which represents a broad spectrum of professional, business, and community leaders. Candidates are nominated by the Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors and are appointed by the City Council of Nevada.
The Board of Directors determines hospital policy and provides direction and counsel on management, administration, planning and development. Directors are responsible for hospital compliance with applicable legal requirements, the maintenance of professional and ethical standards of health services, sound financial management and operation of Nevada Regional Medical Center and selection and appointment of a qualified medical staff.
Board meetings are held monthly and are open to the public.
