Orthopedic Specialty Services Clinic Opens

and Dr. Scott Compton
Nevada Regional Medical Center and Dr. Scott Compton have teamed up to enhance and expand orthopedic services in Nevada. Dr. Compton will provide full-time orthopedic care at the NRMC Orthopedic Specialty Services clinic at 127 S. Main.
Dr. Compton has practiced in Nevada for the past ten years, caring for the orthopedic needs of the community. He is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Association and a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. Dr. Compton specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine and offers comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients with orthopedic injuries and illnesses.
“The Board is very pleased that Dr. Compton will continue to provide orthopedic services in Nevada. This is excellent for our community," said Sandra Thomas, Chairman of the NRMC Board of Directors.
Dr. Compton completed his medical training and residency at the University of Health Sciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO. He and his wife, Debra, are actively involved in the community and are members of the NHS Tiger Booster Club and Habitat for Humanity. Dr. Compton served as President of the Booster Club for the 2007-2008 school year. He also serves on the NRMC Medical Executive Committee and is currently Chief of Staff.
