NRMC Purchases New Building

Nevada Regional Medical Center has made another advancement in their master facility planning endeavor. On Monday, August 24th NRMC purchased a new building in Nevada to offer even more outpatient services to the community.

“This is one more step in the right direction” said Judy Feuquay, CEO of NRMC, “we are expanding services and providing greater access to care for our community.”

The new facility is located at 345 S. Barrett Street; between Burger King and Wal-Mart. “We are so privileged to have gained access to such prime real estate. Considering the high-traffic area that it is, we’ll be that much more accessible to our guests.” Feuquay said.

A portion of the building will be dedicated to rehabilitation. Important services such as physical, occupational and speech therapy will now be easier for these patients to access. The hospital administration is in the process of determining which service(s) should occupy the remainder of the space.

This new facility will be one of many satellite outpatient services provided by NRMC. The hospital also offers off-site care at the Barone Alzheimer’s Center, Show-Me Acceleration, and two rural health clinics located in Rich Hill and Sheldon.
