Home healthcare, simply put, is healthcare delivered in a patient's home. Home healthcare services can range from at-home nursing care, rehabilitation following a hospital stay, to assistance following surgery. Technological breakthroughs allow us to provide advanced medical care to patients right where they live. Services are available for all ages, from newborn to elderly. The CareCall system has two components: a console which is connected to the home telephone system and a small discreet transmitter worn by the CareCall subscriber. If assistance is needed by the CareCall subscriber, he or she needs only to touch the transmitter's button to summon help. The signal from the CareCall unit is received at the Monitoring Center where professionally trained, courteous operators respond to each call and follow it through until help arrives.
