Barone Alzheimer's Care Center Welcomes New Administrator
Judy Feuquay, President and CEO of Nevada Regional Medical Center, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Harms as Administrator of Barone Alzheimer’s Care Center. Harms brings with him ten years of experience in healthcare management, fiscal planning and program development. He is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a Certified Clinical Social Worker in the State of Missouri. As Director, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 40-bed skilled nursing facility.

Prior to joining NRMC, Harms served as Regional Vice President of Medicalodges, Inc. There, he oversaw the delivery of patient care, regulatory compliance, financial performance and the day-to-day operations of nine skilled nursing facilities and three assisted living facilities. Harms also held Administrator positions at Medicalodges of Fort Scott and Christian Health Care of Nevada.

“I look forward to continuing the standard of excellent resident care that the facility has maintained for many years,” says Harms. “Former Administrator Maureen Short and staff have maintained a high standard of care and service delivery to facility residents since 1991. I am very proud and fortunate to be associated with such a dedicated, compassionate team of employees. Barone Alzheimer’s Care Center is a very special healthcare facility.”

Harms received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Sociology from Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Missouri and is a graduate of Nevada High School. He and his wife, Christine, and their four children live in Nevada.
